The Pavilion (n. 10 – Puglia) and the sector (D5) are always the same, but with a tricolour stand! It’s this year’s novelty. In fact, Feudi di Guagnano wants to celebrate the 150th anniversary from the Italian Unification colouring white, red and green its “house” in Verona. Our architect has sent us a photo: as you can see a great glass of Negroamaro and the Italian flag dominate it.
It’s not all: “Guagnano Mutual Aid Society”, that was founded in 1861, has given us a historic Italian flag; it will be on display from the opening day until the end of Vinitaly. Besides, old books and some period photos will be precious stones next to our eleven wines.
By the way, what will you able to taste in our well-stocked stand? As usual, you will be able to taste and to learn more about our wines, the same I like defining “terroir wines”. In fact, my friend Francesco Falcone, who loves writing about wines and lands, defines them “deeply-rooted in their land”, and suggests that “each taste is a constant return to the typical and fanciful baroque of Lecce: a complicated tangle of flavours and fragrances, now stronger, now lighter; sometimes clear, sometimes complex”.
Is our friend overemphasizing? Or is it the truth?
Come to know it; and have a good wine!
